Whatsapp transfer?

Is it possible to transfer my chats from my Lumia 930 to my 950XL.

Seems odd but sometimes I find it funny to go back and read old conversations and I also have one from someone no longer around which I would like to keep if possible?

Edit: just saw that it's about whatsapp.. my badness..

Whatsapp has a backup function under settings > chats and calls > backup

REmove whatsapp from your 950 and back the messages up on the 930, then download whatsapp on the 950 and restore backup (should ask you to do this during setup)

You can either archive them and send them to yourself by mail, or you can actually transfer them by making a backup on micro SD and recover on the 950xl from the micro SD.

Well, since the 930 does not support external SD cards, so no, you cannot transfer your chat history.

So no transfer, but at least you can archive the conversations with the person that is no longer around.

Wrong, wrong. Is not possible to transfer chat from 930 to any other device.

1. Backup works only on the same device.
2. 930 doesn't support SD.

The only option you have is email yourself your conversations. It will save up to 5mb data in .txt file. That's about 1200 pages in a Word document
