they seem to have fixed the biggest issue - the music API one.

I don't see that horrible green wallpaper anymore...so fast resume. and in group chat, each bubble has the contact names on the left hand side to distinguish much easier.

Nice indeed.
Faster boot/resume and the audio-hack is finally gone! The last one is especially interesting when you use Whatsapp only a few times a day (longer battery life!)
