Whatsapp's backup feature

Settings > Backup. Doesn't seem to do anything. The Whatsapp folder on my SD card is still empty. How is this supposed to work and how do you restore chats?

You can't.
Not right now, Whatsapp is way behind Droid.............but there is light.
There is a upcoming update for WA, who knows wat's in the package

But in Droid you cant also use the backup.
Its only needed when you reinstalled the app or after a crash......but not manually.
