When I make a call on my Lumia 830, I can't hear the person calling

Just this morning, my cousin called me and I noticed something unusual with my phone, because I can't hear anything, so I ended the call. My cousin called again and the same problem existed, then I tried to click the Speaker and I could then hear the voice of my cousin. What is wrong with my phone? This never happened before. I had this phone for almost 2 months now. Is this a software or hardware problem. I really am panicking right now. I really do hope someone could help me. Thank you!

Did you already power OFF and ON.
