When is the next flagship Windows Phone coming?

What and when is the next flagship Windows Phone coming

just read that article about Microsoft not having a "flagship" phone coming anytime soon and nothing announced in the works. Is there anything coming?

Even the latest Android flagships are very slight bumps in power compared to the 1520.. Don't let the IT media convince you otherwise.

I agree that Lumia 1520 is a beast and is hard to beat by even any future Windows Phones however since the time that it has released, it has been in many ways superseded by Android counterparts because of superior hardware and software.

The 1520 is a phablet(whatever that term means now) but it is essentially the same experience that you would find on a small sized Windows Phone, there is little that it can do that a smaller 930 can't.

With the arrival of 2K display(and Snapdragon 805 to back it up) the newer phablets have become better for media consumption and even for having more than one app opened at once on the screen.

The 1520 needs some massive software improvements to take advantage of it's still unrealised potential, however a hardware refresh may also be something nice to see soon.

But for now the 1520 is a true showcase of Window Phone's great abilities and I wouldn't have a hard time recommending it to a Windows Phone fan.
