When my volume is a maximum I am still unable to get any sound from my Lumia 830, how can I fix this?

First check the manual how to do it.
If it still does not work bring it back to the shop and get a replacement.

Did you by any chance try a set of headphones that are iOS compatible? That can bork your headset disconnect recognition.

Try a Soft Reset. Hold the Volume Down + Power buttons until the phone vibrates and reboots (about 10 seconds). If that doesn't fix it try a factory reset. Settings > about > reset my phone. If neither of those do it... Seek that warranty replacement.
