In case ppl are still unaware, the original tweet by Microsoft India has been replaced to say WP8.1 releasing this summer.
Seeing as monsoon has already started here in India, wonder if they mean the Summer of 2015.

I don't know why MS is showing its laziness while everyone knows that 8.1 has already been completed and most of the people already have developers preview. I think they want to sell their New handsets with 8.1 first. Ridiculous!!!!!

Its not just up to MSFT. The carriers have to accept the update. I know despite having a 1520, the fact the I'm on AT&T tells me I will be one of the last to get it. That's how it was for Amber and Black.

Guys 8.1 official. Will 1st come to unlocked and unbranded phones...they have many models and specs differ...i guess in India we shld get by coming monday

I thought carriers are no more in the picture. If its carrier problem then we wouldn't have got 8.1 so early. Isn't it?
