Where are we now

Been desperately trying to like and use Skype for about two years now, it's been very hard work to say the least.

So where are we now.

On my PC and SP3 and my wife's Surface Pro and we no longer use the desktop version (Still installed on my desktop for admin purposes) and exclusively use the new preview as it hopefully will become universal and make life easy.................

But on our phones we are still stuck with the older app and the same on our Xbox Ones.

Anyone got a time frame for a fully universal role out of the preview across devices?

Also anyone got a time frame for the integration of SMS and phone integration ?

And finally, why have MS left the "Phone" and "messaging" apps on PC's as they are effectively useless, but they took the Skype video app away, surely all three should have gone?

Good questions but no answers unfortunately - we don't really know what the roadmap is for skype and integration
