Has anyone heard from Joe Belfiore lately?

Last I heard he was put into suspended animation state; loaded on a rocket and sent toward Alpha Centauri. No official reason given but my guess is he was sent far away for being too much of a Windows Mobile lover and we all know MS can't have that.
