where is my data going?

Hello,
I have a 6 GB data plan and have gone through almost all in less than a month of getting my 930!
I checked the usage monitor and it says I have more than the carrier usage monitor. I called the carrier and they said they could not tell me what data I have used until month is over. Convenient, eh?
Anyway to tell if my phone is sending days without my knowledge?
