Where is the 3G On/Off on settings?

I turned off my data connection,but the 3g is still showing on the notification center.I hope this will not drain my battery.

Why would it drain your battery if 3g is showing, if you disconnected 3g it can't use battery life anymore, even if it shows 3g. I think disconnected is disconnected.
