Well I know where that is but the "mouse over" to the lower left corner on a hidden task bar does not bring it up. I have to mouse over to the middle bottom to bring up the task bar and then slide over to the left to click the start menu. What's the reason for this extra travel? This is another one of the minor things but frustrate the hell out of windows 7 users.

He wants to disable auto hide. Right click taskbar, then choose properties. They're should be an auto hide. check box.

hmm...no. I know how to auto hide. But the problem is when the taskbar is hidden, moving the mouse to the lower left corner of the screen won't bring up the taskbar, unlike in windows 7. Why is that?

Sorry to go off topic here.
The title of the thread is driving me nutz "Where my the start menu?"

What should it be so it can be changed to something more understandable?
