That just about how poorly informed this journalist is. No one expected Windows Phone to suddenly take over the mobile market, it was always going to be swimming against the tide; but as has become clear, that tide is turning and Windows Phone is picking up new users. It has already surpassed its first target - overtaking Blackberry - and is picking up speed in many markets across the world.

Well, windows phone has not been a flop, it just hasn't been the incredible success that Android and iOS are. However, nokia messed up not realizing the market was changing at 07. The iphone changed everything.
