where's Cortana?

I have an AT&T Lumia 1020
Got the Cyan update , but can't find Cortana.
Did the update not included cortana

You need to set you region as USA and language English than in settings go to the app section, choose cortana and switch it on.

I did , still no cortana.

I just restarted the phone and still no cortana.
this phone was a warranty replacement .
noticed that the default language is english (UK ) And cannot delete it.
I also have english ( USA )
Could it be that this 1020 is a British version and that's why I don't have cortana?

I have a polish version of 1020 and there is Cortana. You don't need to delete english English just touch american Eng and chose "move it up"....
