which hard reset do you recomend?

after one year using and after upates (my l920 now running on dp 8.1 update 1 and nokia black)
I wondering to make a hard reset and with fresh device to wait for cyan. tell me which hard reset do you recomend, isi it better from phone settings or taster combination?

Both should do the exact same thing. But since I'm an old fashioned guy, I always prefer the button/hardware way, as a part of me thinks that using it directly from the settings may not overwrite some things that are in use. This is utter bull****, and I'm aware of that, but still.

Of course I am. This thinking is based on my experiences back from the old Windows Mobile days, where it was the reality.
