Windows 8.1 on my laptop. Not interested in Windows 10. As for why, I like it.

I could care less for store apps aside from the Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

Using Windows 10 pro and on the insider program(Fast Ring), also using Windows 10 mobile on insider program as well and just updated to the latest version of the build. Fun and very interesting to use windows 10. I am very happy and still having hope that the platform, I defended for year in the eyes of my friends is now turning into somethin very solid. Very impatient to see them switch to windows 10. So impressive how the UWP and the sync between mobile and pc works.

That's a first! 8.1 or 10? Nice!

8.1 for me. In my eyes, they fixed the mess of Windows 8 and it seems like a good balance between the old and new idea. Why fix what isn't broken?

I am an oddball and I update my phone every time there's a new update LOL.

James for those people who are more mature, then they may remember the Radio Shack TR-80 (didn't run Windows though), Philips Nino Palm Sized PC running Windows CE version 1, Casio Cassiopeia Pocket PC, DIP Pocket PC (UK miniature computer with full keyboard), Compaq IPAQ Pocket PC and the Philips VELO 1 which I think was one of the very first pocket PC's to run Windows CE ( has a small keyboard on it as well)

I'm running on both my PC (Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro & Dell Optiplex GX620) Windows 10 Professional (64 bits / en-us) Build 14393.969 smoothly.
I had tried Creators Update Build 15063.0 but everything looks unfinished and totally unstable on system and UWP Apps. Then a rolled back to Anniversary Update more reliable version until Microsoft did their job.
My Lumia 640XL LTE Dual SIM still on 14393.953.

Simple question: Which version of Windows are you running on your laptop or PC, and why? Anyone still have an old setup rocking Windows 95 or similar? lol
Using W10(Non-Insider build) on both my Notebook & Lumia.
It was pre-installed on my laptop
And in case of my L535, I have been upgraded it from w8.1:grin: to w10:smile: for enjoying the new functionality, new features (which aren't coming to other OS's phones )

Got quite the mix.
Stream laptops for kids: Win10 Home 1607 x32
Stream 7 and TW801 tablets: Win10 Pro 1607 x32
work laptop: Win10 Pro 1607 x64
Personal laptop: Win10 Pro 1703 x64 insider
Lumia 640: Win10 1703 insider
Wife's laptop: Win8.1 Pro x64 (she hates change)
Surface RT: Win8.1 RT

Then, a vast assortment of virtual machines and test systems on 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016, and different levels of Windows as needed.
