Why am I being forced into a 3g network?

forcing to 3g network

i have bsnl 3g connection but my data work on 2g AND my other android phone work on 3g network because it have 3g mode network. but in lumia network mode is disable

Go to Settings > Cellular+Sim > Sim settings and then set highest connection speed as 3g. Then if there is decent coverage u will be able to use 3g but if there is not then sadly u cant force it to 3g only.
