Why am I getting the error we are having trouble getting data. when using my Facebook?

WP - Facebook Beta - we are having trouble getting data.

Every time I visit Facebook Beta from my Windows Phone it says "We are having trouble getting data". I am tired now by seeing this. It's ok in Facebook Full Release version.

Even though I am on speedy Wi fi or 3G network, it appears. I initially thought that it may happen due to slow connection, but it isn't the case.

Just the same with Fb beta, but I just switched from Fb beta to Fb and all is OK ...

Yes, it's in beta only, ok in main version.

Are you sure I think I have the full version, How do you check to see what version you have.

Well I have the main version then and it almost always says "We are having trouble getting data" when not connected to wifi

I have been having the same problem with FB/beta for weeks now. It appears to be a mess.

One thing I have noticed with many WP apps that whenever it's revamped version launches, it works great, but by time and version updates it really becomes very slow. The Facebook beta is one of the great example of them, and also the bookmyshow ( Indian Region app only ).

I've given up on both normal and beta. I just pinned my groups and use the people hub for news feed.

Why? It's a BETA. Just use the release version. Or even better yet, the mobile Facebook website is pretty good too.

Hey, it's not all about defining fault of MS, but we are (at least some of posted here) getting this on regular basis. And from my point of view it should be fixed in upcoming version. Plus my clear thinking is "Rather than using alternatives we should make things great that we have already in pocket"

Hey, it's not all about defining fault of MS, but we are (at least some of posted here) getting this on regular basis. And from my point of view it should be fixed in upcoming version. Plus my clear thinking is "Rather than using alternatives we should make things great that we have already in pocket"

But it's software in beta status. Features will be in flux by nature. Nothing to do with fault.

I don't think the version I have is Beta and it still does having trouble getting data I have even noticed the problem on wifi this
needs to be fixed.
