Why am I not able to locate my family with the Find My Family app?

Find My Phone & Find My Family

I've got FindMyPhone turned on all family members phones, however if I need to locate them, I have to login to their MS account to track them. (with permission)

Is there a current way (app??), via the phone to show on request each authorised phone's location. Obviously authorisation is given from each user at installation. Or do you think its a good thing to add to UserVoice as something MS can build in?

Family members could use it to track children or adults (elderly) phones from their phone as opposed to a web browser.

What's people's thoughts?

I like life360, works pretty darn good now.

Thanks for your input, though I was looking for something a little more passive. I know with the FindMyPhone it 'pings' the phone to get a location and it's built-in to the OS and not an additional app that could get closed by mistake. I take it there's no apps that use the FindMyPhone API's?

Also, did someone change the title of this thread, because it's not the one I typed... Didn't recognise it until I saw my first post.
