Why am I now getting Facebook Beta notifications on my Band ?

Hi,

As per the question above,

"Why am I now getting Facebook Beta notifications on my Band ?"

I don't have a Facebook tile on my Band, or Cortana. I never used to receive these notifications before !

Does anybody know ? And can you tell me how to get rid of them ?

They are annoying and distracting.

I've noticed that, if you have the 'Notification Center' tile active on your Band, any app that you have setup to show notification banners on your WP will be transmitted and displayed. I haven't tried this myself, but maybe you can toggle the Facebook Beta notifications banners to 'Off' and it then won't appear on your Band anymore. Good luck.
