Why are my browsers crashing/not responding after Windows 10 update a few days ago?

Windows Central Question

Before the update, everything was running fine. Then I updated, and now Windows 10 seems slower and my browsers (Edge, Firefox, and Chrome) all move really slow now and crash, especially if I go to a site like Facebook or YouTube. It tells me that the browser is not responding, and it tries to reload. Maybe that works half the time, but its still slow. Scrolling is delays. Text takes forever to type. I'm not sure what happened in the update to cause this. How can I fix it? What should I check? Anyone else have this problem?
