Why are only 30-Second Clips being played on my XBOX Music (WP8)?

30-Second Clips: XBOX Music (WP8)

I have added personal music to my HTC One (M8) sd card. Most files being played on xbox music, however, are only playing 30-second clips. This is my OWN music! Any help would be great.

I occasionally have an issue where I try to download songs from Xbox music, but can only hear 30 second clips. I believe this is caused by not being logged into Xbox music correctly, usually due to poor signal strength.

However, I have not seen this happen with music that I already own.

Try closing the Xbox music app, or even restarting the phone and see if this alleviates your issue.

That happens to me sometimes when trying to play my own music. Usually if I turn off "Show streaming music in collection" under the settings option and also change the "Showing" under artist from all music to sd card the problem goes away. Try those to and see if you have any luck.
