Why are some deleted email drafts saved and some are not?

I'm so peeved I cant stand it!

I use an email to track my daily work items, yes I know there are other ways, NONE are good just bad and worse.

Anyways, I had a running draft of several weeks of tasks that I did and other task that I still have to do. I accidently hit the delete instead of save when backing out.

I go to the "deleted" folder and I see a bunch of messages but not the one I'm looking for.

Why are some deleted drafts saved in the deleted folder and some are not?

And better yet, how can I set the phone to save all deleted emails in the deleted folder?

Thanks, Phil.

Hi there. Depending on the email provider (outlook, Gmail etc ), the server permanently deletes messages in trash every 30 or so days. Maybe the server did a cleanup and deleted your message but didn't get around to the others yet?
