Why aren't some of my applications opening on WP 8.1?

Applications not opening in wp 8.1

I have Lumia 520 denim , I exactly dont know what wrong with my phone , most of the applications not opening or just crash while launching, most sadness is it include, music, cortana, calander etc, some applications works after reinstalling , but how can i reinstall pre installed microsoft apps, also have internet connectivity problems with some applications , like viber , face book, music + ( no problem with my WI FI) it has been two days (30/12/14)since problem exist . please help me , please give ,me solution

Hard reset your phone. This is not normal as the 520 is very stable.

Microsoft apps are in the store, simply install those you want again.

You could also try the Nokia software recovery tool.

I didn't know the 520 can get Denim. Checked mine for updates and there is none. Should I not install when it comes?

how can i Hard rest windows 8.1 ? volume up button not working properly , is there any alternative method to hard rest without using volume UP button ?
how to re install pre installed apps or functions like battery sense., calender, files manager (files) podcast,cortana , music

Nokia recovery software shouldn't require up button to re-flash the phone. Battery Sense cannot be uninstalled as it is part of the OS. It always lists in the app list (scroll right) and can be Pinned to the start by a long press/pin.

If you're missing these you don't have Windows Phone 8.1 and only have Windows Phone 8 installed. Reflash with latest firmware to 8.1 using tool mentioned.
