Why can I see my emails on my Hotmail on my phone but not my PC?

I can see my emails on my Hotmail on my phone but not my PC

I am receiving and sending emails on my phone...many months of history, etc. When I open my Hotmail on my PC it opens under Outlook and none of my emails are there????

Are you sure you use the same MS accounts on your phone and your PC.
