Why can't I access the internet?

I can't access the Internet

Okay so I have a windows 7 Samsung laptop and recently I have been rejected from the internet. According to the wifi at the side I have a great connection me I have Internet access but when I try to go online or use any apps that require going online I'm told that I have no internet. When I troubleshoot I'm told there is no problem and when I try to system restore I'm told there is s catastrophic failure and my setting could not be changed. I have tried restarting my computer and I have had this problem for 2-3 days. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting to the wifi and I have even forgot the network and then re added it. Anyone help?

Is the problem only with this wifi connection? If so try restarting your router/modem.
