Why can't I add the calculator to App Folder?

I just downloaded App Folder and the first one I made is a Utilities folder. However, the built in calculator is not listed. What gives?

You can't include preinstalled apps.

Any app that comes as part of the OS and is not present in the WP store eg : Calculator, Internet Explorer etc. cannot be added to the folder. I'm not sure why its this way but true even I would love this feature you are looking for.

You can use live folders as a alternative option to app folders it's much faster and efficient.

What are Live Folders? Is it in the App Store? Searched and found nothing.

Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 adds native folder support. On older devices, it's only presently available through a developer preview:

Ok, I thought that might be the case. I'm sticking with 8 until Verizon pushes 8.1/Cyan to my Icon. I guess I'll just wait until then.
