Why can't I connect to any wifi hotspot?

I cant connect to wifi hotspot

I cant connect to any wifi hotspot many times i have reset also but there is no solution please help

What kind of wifi hotspot? Open? Requiring authentication? What?

You're confusing me. Are you saying you cannot connect to any wifi, regardless if it's open or secure?

Does the network come up in the list? What happens when you tap it? If it's open it may need a login via a web browser.

When i tap to connect to open wifi it shows that your phone can't connect to the wifi network always this happen so many times ihv resets

Can't do that. I don't just send invites out to anyone. You can upload a screenshot via TapaTalk or via a PC.

Hello.-
I have the same problem. I used to have different Wireless Networks to connect to, but now is not possible, getting error "your phone can?t connect to the wi-fi network..". Even setting the router as an open network, it is not possible to connect.
Phone can detect Wireless networks and shows the operational conditions of all of them but can not connect !!. Log of router does not present error or information related to the phone connection.
Phone has been reset soft and hard way but no success. I suspect that WP 8.1 upgrade is the reason but is not possible to downgrade to WP 8.

Any help will be welcome. Thanks.

Sometimes on open WiFi in order to use it you must go to your web browser and put in your email address to register for the service. This stops people from abusing the hotspot. Here in McDonalds ireland you have to do this even though its public WiFi. Try to log onto another open WiFi connection. The one your trying to connect to might not be configured correctly or maybe there maybe a limit to the number of devices connected to the hotspot.

Try and use Nokia software updater to downgrade to basic windows 8.1 there may be a problem with a recient update you may have done. You need a pc, usb cable and the software. Run the software updater and follow the steps on screen. Then try again after you have "flashed" the software. **make sure you back up your media etc**
