I can't connect to free vpn

I'm using a hotspot app from my laptop to share internet with my windowsphone .
but can't connect to vpn - Is problem with my phone or hotspots ?

Hi. Your question isn't clear enough..
Can you mention what hotspot app you use to share your laptop internet with? And where exactly you want to connect to VPN, on WP or from your laptop? Please mention the VPN app name or is it your company VPN?
