Windows Central Question

Why can't I delete the Temporary files on my phone.

On my Nokia Lumia 520 I'm trying to clear up space on my phone by deleting the temporary files. I've already deleted my browser history but I still have 289.48 MB that won't delete. Every time I press the delete but it says "Deleting temporary files..." at the top of the screen but whenever I go back to check on its progress like it says it appears that I haven't done anything. And every time I go to another page or anything I always have to press the button again. It's been this way for about a week and a half now and I've been trying to do an update to one of my games but I can't because of tis problem. Please tell me what's going on?

Sounds like a lock on a file isn't being released. Try doing a Soft Reset (hold Volume Down + Power button for 10 seconds) the phone will reboot, and hopefully then you can delete the temporary file(s).
