Why can't I download apps on the Windows Store?

Windows Central Question

Whenever I try and download an app to my computer from the store, it says "we encountered an error. Please try signing in again later."
I've reset my computer to factory conditions and numerous their things, but it seems like nothing is working. Someone please help!!

what error code are you getting? Have you tried signing out and then signing back in?
