Why can't I download new apps (It tells me to ask a parent.)?

i cant download new apps. It tells me to ask a parent.

It says it wont download because there has been a pass word put in and it has been forgotten.

1) If you are under 18 a parent might have put some restrictions on your Microsoft Account. They would have the password.

2) If you are 18 or over and the Microsoft Account you are using should have the correct date, you can check by logging into that account on a PC Browser and examining the profile.

3) If you are 18 or over and the Microsoft Account is correct... It may be an old Xbox Account attached to your email address that did not "age" correctly. Microsoft Customer Care can help with that. microsoft customer care - Bing
