Why can't i make living images?

I'm running windows 10 , 164 build on my lumia 640xl, I'm not in the insider program.

if you open the camera app and go to settings (three dots bottom right) do you see the check box for "Capture living images"?

I have it turned on in the camera settings and still not working ??

Then u need a hard reset...and see if u have allowed the photos app in the background

Go to Lumia camera app, open it's settings and there will be an option to turn the living images on or off.

Try opening you Lumia Camera app and opening the pictures from there. On mine the living images works in the camera app, but not in the regular Microsoft photo app which comes on the phone. Not sure if other photo viewing apps work or not.
