Why can't I open zip files thru Edge?

Windows Central Question

For some reason my apps list shows Microsoft 15, which I didn't know existed. When I updated to Windows 10, Edge appeared, Now when I try to open files, it automaticallygoes to Edge, which I don't like, and Edge will not open any of my zipped files. Help!
