Why can't i see my history?

I have the new Microsoft 10 with the edge. I was able to view my history up to a couple of days ago. I got to the hub and the only thing that shows is "you'll see your browsing history here once you've visited sites". I checked my setting and there is nothing set for automatic deleting of history...can anyone help me with this?
