Why can't I send emails from Outlook after updating to Windows 10?

I can receive emails, print etc but cannot send emails. Tells me there is a network error when network is working fine.

Right click on the Windows button and select Command Prompt (Admin). Run the command /sfc scannow This will fix the problem.

Correct command is: sfc /scannow

I have bought a new hp lap top with windows 10 installed and I can receive mail but not send I have tried the fix recommended but I have the same problem
