Why can't i take living image in my Lumia 730.?

I am on Anniversary update but i cant take living image in my lumia 730 though i have clicked the option to take living image in settings. Photos app not showing any live image, but Sometimes when i go to edit photo, its showing option to save photos from living images, after clicking that option its showing "something went wrog error".
so plz tell me whats the problem and how should i solve it.

Note- I was taking living image same mobile in windows 8, without flash and with flash also.

try to check for app updates for camera
Also, I'm aware that living images are only taken when there's movement detected

That's not an issue with AU. It's been like this since after 10586.107 with the recent camera and photos app updates. Living images still doesn't work with any kind of movement.

which device in your case? This issue isn't that widespread or I would have heard of it a lot

I'm using a Lumia 640 LTE but this also happens with the 550.

Only the 950/950XL can take living images now, I believe. That functionality has been removed from other models along with 5.1 Dolby Digital audio recording in videos. How else are they going to sell all those 950s no-one bought if we're all holding on to our 930s etc. whilst waiting for the Surface Phone?
