Windows Central Question

My daughter gave us her old computer yesterday before going to college. She had cleared all photos, data, e-mail, but none of the operating systems. We uploaded Windows 10 today, and pictures she took with her iPhone today (so obviously they weren't left on her computer) appeared in the picture folder. When we looked at the details, it said the pictures were in iCloud. How do we turn it off? She has a new PC now and is in the process of loading Windows 10 into it.

iCloud was apparently installed, and she failed to uninstall it before giving it to you. Apparently, it is still linked to her account, even after the upgrade. You will need to uninstall the iCloud sync software to stop this. In the meantime, please tell your daughter to be careful what she takes a picture of, because her dear parents can see every snap. ;)

I'm not sure if anything else will need to be done, so an iCloud expert may need to give further advice.
