Why do my headphones pause music when I insert them?

headphones pause music when i insert them

hello guys.my lumia 520 cant play through headphones,sometimes it will just play for a couple of seconds then pause the music&il have to remove them&use loudspeaker to listen..anyone knows what could be the problem??

Does you headset have a "clicker" control module? Maybe a defective switch?
