As the title says, why do you like windows phone, you could have another platform, but why windows phone as your daily phone/device. Just interested.

As a past wp user and now iOS user wp was and is so much more fun sure iOS does by far feel and acts much more mature but man is it boring so here's to hoping ms gets there a$& in gear and topple iOS!

As a PC Gamer and Windows Eco system!

I build my own Windows gaming Rigs'

Loving my Surface 4 Pro
Loving my Lumia 950 XL
Loving my Band 2

All works seamless.

Actually, some of my friends that see me happy with my Windows Phone/Mobile ask me: "Dude, why you keeps with that Windows Phone???", because much of them just remember of the old Windows Phone (the 7.5 years...), when we didn't had any Facebook app, and more things. Today, our OS keeps don't being perfect - but none OS is. OK, we don't have the mooooost perfect Facebook app (in 8.1, because the W10M version is >>>>>>>>>>>>>> better), or the most beautiful WhatsApp app, and, no, we keep without Snapchat - in anyways -, but, DUUUDE, Windows Phone is such a great OS. Is fast, so much customizable, have devices with a great camera - 1020  - and much more. We may not have the best app store with the greatest apps/apps that everyone wants, but this is getting better, day after day. The OS version are changing - WHERE'S MY WINDOWS 10 MOBILE :confused::confused: -, the apps are changing - Facebook for Windows 10 Mobile -, the way how we use our Windows Mobile is changing, the way how we customize our WM is changing, (...), so, everything is changing. Our system it's getting bigger, getting more space in the market/world, also as your visibility. And, with his growth, we will get bigger/better/more apps, more options, more users, more everything.
So... Why do i like Windows Phone? Because all of this. ;)

P.S.: Sorry for my english. I'm brazilian, and i need some classes... hahahahahah thanks

Because I don't want an Itunes controlled life. I like Windows PC, Xbox etc. so it makes sense. I'm not married to it though. I could easily transition back to Android.

So this OS has my attention for a little while longer. I fear though that software will pull me away at some point. There are too many things I want (gadgets) that the companion apps to control them are only on Android and Apple.

This becomes a catch 22 all the time.

I love how smooth and customizable it is. I got a 950 after 5 years on iPhone and will never go back. The amount of options you have in customizing things, live tiles, lock screen, apps have many options to enhance your experience, and the fact that the settings and windows UI is the same as on a pc makes things very easy. And I'm a mac user first and foremost. I'm still learning things on the 950 and each time I'm pleasantly surprised.

Plus the screen is gorgeous and most apps work flawlessly. My only gripes are lack of snapchat and chase banking, and a crummy speaker but I can live with those. The OS is terrific.

Been A BlackBerry guy for the last 10 years. I now carry around a Lumia 640, to go with my BlackBerry Q10, as I learn my way around this new OS. It's only been a few weeks with my Lumia, but so far so good! Looking forward to Windows 10 update. Cheers 🍻!

It works for me. I like the way it looks and how well it runs. I never worry about battery life, and I have good specs at a lower price point.

I like the integration with all of the other Windows and Xbox items that we have in the house.
Cortana on all of the devices us great.

I've had feature phones, Symbian phone (not touch), low-end android, 900 for a week (purple camera -> returned), 820 and now 640.

I like the UI: live tiles, vertical scrolling, the looks; all the apps I need are there, generally the phone works well and predictably, moving apps to SD works well. "OS app" updates do not fill internal memory. Camera does refuse to start when battery is below 15%.

Another aspect is that I don't see myself as an iPhone person. No other Apple devices, no iTunes. No reason to jump at this time ;)

I love the live tiles the other platforms are boring. The battery live is good. I got a good phone for the money (640) Compared to my sons Iphone.
I think that the android platform is riddled with malware. For whatever reason the windows platform seems to use way less data.

1. Simple and professional design
2. Deep integration with my windows 10 tablet and windows 10 laptop.
3. Live tiles
4. Microsoft goodies like full office suite and Lumia Camera
5. New features are added regularly in Windows phones, unlike Android or iOS which remain more or less the same with each update.
