Why does At&t hate Wp8?

Here is a nice trend that I have been noticing...

In the last month or so a few people at my work have gotten new phones. 4 out of the 6 have gone with Windows Phones. The other 2 got Androids and those two, after a couple weeks, determined that the Androids were junk and switched them for iPhones.

One of these people told me that when he went to the AT&T store the sales person actually talked him into a Windows Phone.

Last week my son upgraded his AT&T L520 to a 1020. The salesman did NOT try and talk him into a different phone and was really helpful. Then Saturday my wife and I went to upgrade our phones. I got the L1520 and she got the L1020. We got the same sales person and he never once mentioned any other phones or talked down the Windows Phone even though my wife did look at some Androids. I asked him some questions about the 1520 and instead of trying to blow smoke, he admitted that he wasn't sure and jumped on his tablet to look up the answer to my questions. This is a nice departure from the sales people when I got my 920 a year ago.

What is really great is that where I work, Windows Phones now outnumber iPhone and Android combined.

I live in Philadelphia and it's the same here. I visited two different stores downtown. The largest AT&T store in the city had a section for windows phones when I bought my Nokia 1520. But last week there was no display and absolutely no windows phones on display. I was curious so I went to another store downtown and found the same situation. This is really disturbing.
