Why does camera flash not go off?

Hi, I got this Lumia 535 the other day, when I try to turn off the LED flash or set it to auto, the camera still flashes even in the outdoors. Is it that my device is faulty or what?

You have the focus assistance light on. You have to toggle it off on the camera settings, last option.

u r outside that don't mean that the camera don't need light to capture good shots. if it is on auto mode then its can get on when it needs and if it is off then it is the focus assist light to get good shot turn it off from the settings
