I am using a Windows 7, Packard Bell Laptop; but have downloaded Windows 10 onto it. So I have the Groove Music app on my desktop Laptop, (and that show's/contains all 35GB's of music by-the-way -- and is all well and good).
What I did was, I got my apple iPod (which is from 2007)... Then I downloaded iExplorer, and extracted all of my music albums from the iPod and put them back into iTunes, (which is also on my laptop desktop). So I did all of that step-by-step (which took several hours).
One thing I have noticed is that any Music Files that are m4a's are not recognized by Groove Music, so I am currently in the slow process of converting them all (via iTunes) to MP3 files, so that they get recognized by the Groove Music app on my Microsoft-Lumia-535 phone, -- with added Micro-SD card of 64GB's
So then I made a folder on my laptops desktop, called Music.
Then I transferred ALL of the 35GB's music into the "Groove Music" App on my desktop... (so now, when I click "start" and Groove Music; I can see all of my albums are in the Groove Music app (on my laptops desktop).
Then I plugged in my phone to my laptop, using the USB lead and I thought it would synch-up with what is on my laptop/desktop... i.e I thought it would "mirror" up, or "synchronize" or "be the same as" what is on "Groove Music" app on the Desktop, but it didn't do that ?
It only took the albums which are in iTunes-My-Music... It has NOT synchronized up with Groove Music at all? Why is this?
How do I get all of my music to play through GROOVE MUSIC? And why - when I plug my phone DIRECTLY INTO THE LAPTOP, is it NOT reading the GROOVE MUSIC app on the laptop?
Another weird thing... On my Phone, when I go to Groove Music, (as I've said -- there are only 11 albums -- in the "albums" section), but if I go to "Artists" then it brings up a bunch of albums underneath [for example] "Michael Jackson"... Or "Elvis Presley".... And then gives me a few of the "Lost" albums...
Also -- If I click on "Playlists" it gives me a MASSIVE list of 173 songs under the name "The Beatles" (for example).... or "Walt Disney" (for example), and then gives me access to more hidden songs that will not come up via "Albums"...
I wonder if I should un-install the Groove Music App, and then re-install it?
