Why does Lumia 730 get hot after 5-10 minutes of usage?

I bought lumia 730 yesterday.The charger gets heated when i put phone for charging. Then the phone also gets hot after 5-10 minutes of usage.. is it my mobile fault? I sholud replace it or any solutions for it?

Replacing it would be the best bet. Perhaps if you have a blackberry charger you can test it out and see if that one gets hot as well or just plug the usb cable to a pc/laptop and check if that helps.. Might just be a defective plug. As for the phone getting hot; if you installed any apps recently, uninstall them and check if the heating issue persists.. If it doesn't then it was probably due to one of those apps

charger gets hot if the phone battery is very low, its common, what are you using your phone for while charging, usually heavy apps heat up the phone when it is charging. use the app when not charging to see if the phone gets hot.

i observed from 2 days, the phone will get little heated if i use internet for an hour ,, is it normal or wat

Some phones have this issue yes.. Using IE (for a while) can cause the phone to heat up slightly.. Try UC browser for a bit

My lumia 1020 has the same problem lately it keeps getting really hot when using ie and eventually just runs the battery down, its annoying having to take a charger everywhere!
