Why does my Maps app say "no gps signal"?

Every time I try to use the maps app in my lumia 950xl it gives me the routes but it automatically loses the gps signal and stops working, does anybody know how to fix this issue? please help.

do tell us more like what os build you are on and whether are you an insider or not. Did you do a soft reset? ( volume down +power key )

yes I am an insider so at first I thought that it was a bug in one of the latest builds so I restarted the whole system and didn't install the insider builds, still didn't work, and the waze application works so there's no problem with the phone gps. I'm just so tired of this, I'm really thinking on switching to an android phone.

Hi, im from UK and currently in USA using flight mode, this same problem happens to me (I have gps on) I found that with my problem, it was because I had battery saver on (mainly as im going to theme parks, don't battery to die for god way home) don't know if it's the same with you, but ever since I stopped using battery saver, I've had no problem?
