Why does my Outlook account say outlook account requires attention?

why my outlook account says " outlook account requires attention"

I can't access my email on my 640 XL any suggestions?

That happened with my gmail account. I removed the account and configured again. It worked. But in your case its outlook which we cannot remove.

sometimes happens after a hard reset that I need to log into my MS account again before it works. On W10M preview or redstone there should be an option to "fix" account settings. It will ask you for your password. If you have two-step verification on that may also ask you to enter a code from the authenticator app.

Then you should select "use different option" then select "call xxxxxxxxx". It'll call u n say the code. I do the same if i reset my phone.
