Windows Central Question

Audio level goes slightly down all of sudden after few seconds of music play.

On Lumia 830 (Denim), after few seconds of music play, the audio level slightly goes down especially when some low frequency (Bass) noise starts playing. Is this due to hardware or OS related issue? I've tried by changing the Equalizer settings but not able to resolve.

Welcome to Windows Central.

Try decreasing the bass level from your music. The slight decrease in audio output is caused by the physical limitations of the small speakers in your phone, i.e. when strong low frequencies are played the speakers could not respond to higher frequency signals as efficiently since the resonating module of the speaker (especially for small speakers) is being "pushed out" of it's normal working range. This distortion can also be observed in TV speakers (and most audio equipment), where it is a mistake to max out the output of the speakers for better clarity.
