Why does the Edge Favorites Bar keep going blank

[Windows Central Question]

I populate the Favorites Bar of my Edge browser, use it sometimes for several days then one time I shut it down, power off the pc or reboot and when I open Edge again it comes up with no entries in the Favorite Bar and sometimes the whole Favorites folder is blank. This has happened from day one and continues still. So far I am Totally unimpressed with a lot of this new Windows release. For sure about ready to dump Edge altogether but thought I'd ask others first.

Thanks for the feedback. I did join right after posting this question. I'll try the setting as you suggested and see how it goes..

Hi welcome to Windows Central. I'm not a edge user. It's still new and IMHO it still leaves a lot to be desired. My Firefox has never let me down or deleted any of my Bookmarks! Let me know how things go for you!
