Why does the task switcher show this?

Why does it do this:

Its annoying to have multiple instances of the same messaging up. The three messenger instances were all the same person but each time you leave the app and tap the notification or something it opens a new one. Has someone already suggested for them to change this?

Btw,I put the black dot because I didn't want to explain the joke,lol.

It did the same to me too in GDR3, and now with WP8.1 already does. Also with Internet Explorer tabs
