Windows Central Question

why doesn't my windows 10 open jpg images?

Although it shows the images, windows can not open images on my laptop.

Check your file associations.

Launch Control Panel (WINkey+R, type CONTROL and press enter).

Change View byto Small Icons.

Click Default Programs.

Click Associate a file type or protocol with a program.

Scroll down to JPG and ensure that it's associated to a program. If not, change it to a valid program.
